Los Motivators are a world beat music duo from NYC.
Legendary rebel Pdrito Criollo (Gogol Bordello,
NuFolk Rebel Alliance) and Nikko
“Nikkotono” Matiz (Butcher Knives, Ephniko)
unite forces to create a message-driven sound
to feed the soul, utilizing world sounds to
create a global call towards unity and
togetherness.
Los Motivators bring a cinematic approach to
music that is easy listening – yet powerful
enough to deliver a positive message of well
being.
Their world beat sound is mixed with hints of
reggae, electronic music, Latin American
folklore, and world music, among others.

Their latest single “Cartas Desde Aleppo” (Letters from Aleppo) comments on the forgotten tales about
the history behind war torn Aleppo in Syria.
